As a second-generation builder, Scott’s passion for carpentry began early. He grew up alongside his father on job sites in small-town Wisconsin and spent nearly 15 years working with him, learning the craft firsthand.
Life (and love!) eventually brought Scott to Minnesota, where he spent the next decade working for Fortune 50 companies and gaining valuable experience in leadership, operations and business. But building was always where he felt most at home.
In 2017, Scott returned to his roots and started Jaeger Homes, combining a lifetime of hands-on experience with the skills he gained throughout his corporate career. Today, you’ll still find him where he’s happiest: on the job site, tools in hand, figuring out how to make something work and making sure it’s done right.

In 2021, Scott’s dad, Mike, moved to Minnesota to join Jaeger Homes after more than 40 years running his own construction company. Father and son were once again working side-by-side.
